Information to the Employer

Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at CUST is a programme where students are trained to design and develop complex electrical systems and electronic components and products paying due consideration to multiple design elements and technical characteristics. Importantly, they develop a unique habit of engaging themselves in continuing education to keep up with changes in technology. At CUST they are also put to work with others during the manufacturing process to ensure that their plans are implemented correctly. While working in a group they are to explain their designs and reasoning clearly and to relay instructions during product development and production both vertically and horizontally. Unlike many local universities, the long Industrial attachment that they are exposed to offers them the rare opportunity to validate his learning with the practical field to finally fine-tune his learning outcomes. Finally, our graduates are also exposed to develop technical publications related to equipment they develop, including maintenance manuals, operation manuals, parts lists, product proposals, and design methods documents. Last but not the least, during the industrial attachment, for 06 credits, the competent resource personnel of the concerned industry would serve as faculties and the assessment will essentially be done by them. So, as a potential employer you will have the opportunity to know the potential of our student before they are actually employed in your firm. It may be mentioned here that at CUST all lecturers and staff are passionate about the future of their respective industries and the students whose minds they shape and groom. Here efforts are always on to maintain the integrity of our courses and graduates by continuously shaping and updating the syllabus around industry needs and trends.
