Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) is a private Industry-Driven technical university in Bangladesh established on 24 February 2016. CUST is duly approved by the Govt. of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh-the highest accrediting authority of higher education of the country.
Central University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields ranging from engineering to business. The programs are where intellect meets integrity. The curriculum of CUST reflects it’s values. CUST will emerge as the pioneer industry-driven university in Bangladesh.

Background & Societal Value
CUST never tried to become a traditional university but an Industry Driven University in Bangladesh. Skilled human resources are the asset for country. In order to make them skilled, a Technical University is required where CUST is aiming to play a significant role. CUST plans to move ahead keeping the SDG Goals in its mission.
How CUST Proposed Programs
At first, CUST identified the essential Sectors for Bangladesh then acknowledged Trades. Because a subject comes based on trade and then sinking down to sector. During the preparation of course curriculum we have considered these sectors and trades value which are very important to produce Job Ready Graduates for the country.
