According to the directive of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, the Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to support the university in achieving its vision through the assurance of quality education. The establishment of IQAC by the UGC is a significant step toward promoting long-term quality standards and institutional sustainability.
The IQAC is a key administrative body responsible for overseeing all quality-related matters within the university. It is primarily responsible for initiating, planning, and supervising various activities aimed at enhancing the quality of education delivered by the university. The role of IQAC in maintaining and improving standards in teaching, learning, and assessment is therefore of critical importance.
