The Treasurer is a key statutory officer of CUST, responsible for the overall financial administration, control, and oversight of the university. The office ensures that all financial activities are conducted in a transparent, accountable, and efficient manner, in compliance with the Private University Act, 2010, and other relevant financial regulations. The Treasurer oversees budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning to ensure optimal use of university funds for academic programs, infrastructure development, research, and operational needs. The office is also responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing periodic reports, coordinating internal and external audits, and ensuring financial sustainability. By providing strategic guidance on fiscal management, the Treasurer plays a critical role in supporting the university’s growth, operational efficiency, and long-term institutional development.
