Engr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun

Engr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun currently serves as the “Senior Assistant Registrar” from 01 September 2023 till date of Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) – Bangladesh.

Although he officially joined in 01 February 2017 to 31 August 2023 as the “Executive – Information Technology & Digital Services”, he was involved with the CUST since its birth as a freelancer. He has been working as a Web Development Engineer. He is responsible for creating, maintaining and managing the website of CUST since 2016.

As “Information Technology & Digital Services”, he assumes a wide range of activities that centre around the creation of customized digital solutions and services for the University. At present he has been doing well in the IT Department as well as web and system administrator, digital and online platform and other official assigned important work.

It is to be noted that from the very beginning he has been involved in various activities with almost all the Departments including the Admission Office and the Registrar Office in CUST. And also he has been completing all the works related to the Registrar, Admin and HR Department in charge.

In addition to the assigned duties, he has been holding the duties of Registrar, Admin and HR Department from 01 November 2021 to 25 May 2023 as the “Assistant Registrar” of the Administrative Department. He has been serving from 28 May 2023 till date as “Senior Assistant Controller of Examinations” of the Exam Department beyond his regular/ assigned duties and responsibilities.

He is also Member of Admission Committee since 2023, Committee of Academic Calendar since 2023 & Admission Sub Committee since 2023, Attestation Officer since 09 September 2024, respectively.

He is also involved with the University’s Innovation Hub (iHub)/ Innovation Club.

Prior to his present appointment, he served as “Software Development Engineer” with the Evatix Limited, “Web Development Engineer” with Institute of Science Trade & Technology, “IT Executive” with the Kushum Construction & Development Limited, “System Management” with the Ibn Sina Trust and he contributed significantly for the institutional development of them.

He has an institutional achievement “Outstanding Performance Award” at Evatix Limited for Dedicated Service & Efforts & “LEAP 2025 International Educational Award” at London School of Digital Business, UK for Nominated Valuable Contribution to The Education Industry.

He has expertise at Digital Marketing & Services, Programming & Scripting Language, Graphics Design, Software & Web Development and Microsoft Office Applications. He has excellent communication skills to present point’s precisely and clearly good problem solving skills and analytical abilities.

He is from an Engineering and IT background. He completed “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (B.Sc in CSE)”. He achieved professional certificates in “Certificate in Pharmacy”, “Advanced Digital Marketing”, “Computer Programming”, “Certified AI-Powered Instructional Design Professional”, “Digital Ad Certificate – Digital Marketing” & “Master ChatGPT”.

He has training in “Basics of Digital Marketing”, “Generative AI for Educators”, “Marketing Course”, “Basics of SMM, SEM, Content Marketing”, “Fundamentals of SEO”, “Communication Hacks”, “Creative Content Design Techniques”, “Online Class Techniques”, “Cyber ​​Awareness & Digital Security”, “Fundamentals of Digital Marketing” & “Basics of Data Science”

Also he attended and participated in “E-World Marketing Summit (eWMS)”, “Bangladesh Institute of Modern Marketing Connect (BIMM)”, “AI Connect Bangladesh Summit” & “London School of Digital Business”.

He has come forward in various works of self-humanity and disaster relief, including humanitarian service by donating blood for the suffering humanity.

He enjoys music, reading, sporting, travelling and keeping up with current affairs.
