Warm welcome to the Central University of Science & Technology (CUST). I hope that you and your families are healthy and that you have been able to find new ways to appreciate and care for one another during this unprecedented time we are currently facing. In moments like these, I am reminded of the power and importance of the work our professional and specialized education that is engaged in to support learning in community organizations locally and around the country. In today’s competitive and globalized world, it is important achieve academic excellence through proper education and learning, which our first-rate faculty of dedicated teachers and scholars provides with an exciting, challenging curriculum.

We, at CUST, are committed to providing academic excellence in the fields of business, technology and diplomacy, textile, communication and computer sciences. Our faculty is a community of dedicated scholars and teachers whose research expands the boundaries of our knowledge and imagination, and whose teaching prepares students for wide-ranging careers and lifelong learning.

As COVID-19 continues spreading in many countries of the world, how to keep learning in disruption has become a major challenge to the global education community. Covid-19 has forced universities across the country to suspend physical classrooms and shift to online classes. CUST is taking the lead so that the studies are not conceded, and students do not fall back on academics. We have decided to implement an online education system, taking the initiative to provide education with utmost sincerity to our students.

“Excellence is never an accident; it’s always the result of high intention, sincere efforts, intelligent direction and skillful execution.” I have always believed in these words of wisdom, now more than ever.

With the blessings of the Almighty, in His divine benevolence, I pray that CUST continues to lead and guide our pupils to build the bridges of language, technology and culture that connect Bangladesh and the rest of the world, and to become leaders in global development! I am grateful for everyone’s work thus far and look forward to building on our successes in subsequent years.
