CUST 1st Syndicate Meeting Held
The 1st Syndicate meeting of Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) was held on 9 September 2019 at the Conference of CUST, Mirpur-14, Dhaka. CUST Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain Chaired the meeting in attendance of Gazi M A Salam, Chairman of Board of Trustees, CUST.
The meeting cleared several issues including Syndicate Conducting Policy, Nomination of members for different authorities of the University, and Statute of the University.
Among others, Syndicate member nominated by UGC prominent Computer Scientist of BUET Prof. Dr. M Kaykobad and Chairman of CSE, BUET Prof. Dr. Mostofa Akbor Was Present. Govt. nominated member of the Syndicate DG (Additional Secretary) of BANBEIS Mr. Md. Fasiullah, Former Additional Secretary & Members of BoT Mr. Morshed Alam, CUST Treasurer (Acting) Mr. Firoze A. Akhtar, Dean of SBID Prof. Dr. Khandokar Shafayet Hossain, Chairman of different dept. and Registrar were present at the meeting.
