CUST Mourns the Death of Dr. M R Khan

All members of the Central University of Science and Technology are deeply shocked at the death of its Founder Chairman, National Professor Dr M R Khan, who passed away at the age of 88 at the Central Hospital in Dhaka yesterday, the 05 Nov 2016. The renowned child specialist played the most important visionary role in the established of CUST, which received government’s kind go ahead to operate in Dhaka on the historic day of 21 Feb 2016. The country’s pioneer paediatric surgeon, Prof Khan, was suffering from several old age complications and undergoing treatment at intensive care unit of the Central Hospital. The CUST top management would continue to work hard to make the dream of M R Khan come true in fostering the technical education in Bangladesh. CUST Former Co-chairman Prof. Dr. M. Kaykobad also expressed deep shock at the death of Dr Khan.
