Founder Chairman CUST Receives Independence Award

Eminent National Professor and Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees of Central University of Science and Technology (CUST), Doctor Mohammad Rafi Khan, alias M R Khan received Bangladesh’s highest civilian honour, the Independence Award in medical science in 2016. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave away the award, meant for contributions towards Bangladesh’s independence and nation-building at a ceremony on 24 March 2016, the Thursday held at the capital’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium. It may be mentioned here that National Professor Khan has earlier received prestigious Ekushey Padak.
