CUST Participation in the ICPC Dhaka Regional Contest 2021

The International Collegiate Programming Contest, known as the ICPC, is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world.  ICPC competitions provide gifted students opportunities to interact, demonstrate, and improve their teamwork, programming, and problem-solving process. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. The ‘ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2021’ was inaugurated at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). The two-day-long programming competition will end with a final onsite competition, closing ceremony and prize distribution ceremony. Earlier, the online preliminary competition among 1,745 teams from 117 colleges and universities was completed on September 3. Later on, 165 teams from 104 educational institutions were selected for the final stage. The students of CSE Department of Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) participated in the onsite programming contest and the CUST_NULL ranked in position 141th.
